As you are already aware, by participating in the Pan-European Seal Programme, you received on a monthly basis, information about training activities organised by the EUIPO Academy.

As regards to online training, please both your University and your students will find several e-learning option in our EUIPO Academy Learning Portal.

Under the scope of this initiative, we are glad to inform you that the EUIPO Academy has published a new Learning Plan: Introduction to IP knowledge dedicated to University students coming from non-IP background/programmes.

We strongly believe that this new Learning Plan will be of high interest of your current and prospective students of your Bachelor/Master Programmes not dedicated to IP Law.

This Learning Plan includes a sequence of 7 interactive e-learning courses regarding the different Intellectual Property rights (trademarks, designs, copyright etc.) and their protection in EU. Once the 7 courses are completed, the student will receive a general Certificate of completion of the entire Learning Plan.

 

Apart from the mandatory e-learning courses, this Learning Plan includes also a list of suggested ones focused on specific sectors where IP is applied (from street art and food industry to blockchain and artificial intelligence).

Following that any student of your Master Programmes can find a course related to his/her studies and general interest.

 

We believe that this Learning Plan could be of interest both for your prospective/new students of the future years and your current ones who wish to apply for a traineeship at the EUIPO or the EPO through the Pan-European Seal Programme and they do not have an IP background.
