Training on "Protection of Intellectual Property Rights in Architecture" was organized by the Institute of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer "prof. Dr. Borislav Borisov" (IIPTT) of UNWE, Association of Architects-Designers in Protection of Copyright in Architecture (BAACPA) and Union of Architects in Bulgaria (UBA) on December 7, 2023 in the Conference Hall of IIPTT.

Welcoming speeches were made by Dr. Ivan Nachev, director of IIPTT, arch. Marin Bakalov, chairman of BAACPA, arch. Lidiya Lazarova, member of the Board of Directors of UBAand by Mr. Yordan Politov, legal consultant, Politov IP&Law.

 

 

The training ended with a discussion and questions, among which the insufficient awareness and knowledge of intellectual property rights by their right holders stood out, as well as their incorrect interpretation.
