The new University Network Pan-European Seal 2024/2025 campaign has begun to recruit candidates for a one-year paid internship at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante, Spain or at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich, The Hague , Vienna, Berlin or Brussels.

On an annual basis, UNWE offers the two institutions a list of selected students, from which EPO and EUIPO  select the most suitable for participation in a one-year paid internship on a competitive basis.

The Institute of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer "prof. Dr. Borislav Borisov" (IIPTT) is a coordinator on the part of the UNSS under the memorandum of cooperation with EPO and SESIS. The deadline for students to submit documents to IIPTT is February 23, 2024 (Friday). Submission is done online at the email address [email protected]. IIPTT approved students will be informed that they have been shortlisted for proposed EPO/SESIS traineeships by 27 February 2023 (Tuesday). They should submit the necessary documents through the online platforms of the respective organization to which they wish to apply (by March 15, 2023 for EPO applicants and by March 31, 2023 for EUIPO applicants).
