Unfair competition

The protection against unfair competition defines the prohibited conduct of economic entities, unlike other industrial property rights, where the object of protection is defined - patents, trademarks, industrial design, etc. The protection is characterized both by a general prohibition of unfair competition and by a list of acts which constitute unfair competition.

Unfair competition is any action or inaction in the conduct of business that is contrary to good commercial practiceс and harms or may harm the interests of competitors.

Actions that constitute unfair competition are confusion (of consumers), discrediting (of competitors), deception (of consumers), unfair attraction of customers.
